Chasing Satellites are a new and up coming band on the scene bringing back rock the way it's supposed to be. The lead singer is everything a lead singer should be, he's got the pipes, the looks, and the moves. Not only that but he's a deadly rhythm guitar player too!!! Along side a rock solid rhythm section and lead guitarist pumping out epic solos, we think these guys have an exiciting future ahead of them!!! Already between them they have shared stages with The Trews, Evanesence, Sum 41, ZZ Top, ...etc. Not only that but they have played from North America to Europe. We expect that Chasing Satellites will be bigger and better than anything its members have ever done before. Watch out because you too will be Chasing Satellites!!!

Chantel Upshaw
Chantel probably has one of the most impressive voices we've ever heard come our way!!!
Her
voice is raw, organic and comes straight from the heart. Her writing
skills are undeniable and her style is very much her own.
There are elements of Motown with strong pop tendencies in her compositions. She quotes Martha
Reeves and the Vandellas, Aretha, Pink
Floyd, and Queen, to Webber, Rogers & Hammerstein, and Gwen Stefani
to Fiona Apple as some of her influences. The outcome is an artist
ready to become a leader of a new genre, a setter of a new trend soon
to be followed by the masses.
Chantel
has been recording her EP at one of Vancouver's most prestigious
recording facilities, some of the songs from this EP are posted below.
She
has also become known for her live performances at venues around the
city as well as Vancouver Island. She has performed showcases two years
in a row at NMW (New Music West) both times at trendy nightclubs to an
audience of music executives. Her performances in the past have ranged
from outdoors on big stages to an array of indoor venues ranging from
clubs to small coffee shops, and no matter where it be, it always feels
intimate and personal.
With years of hard work she now has the industry knocking at her door... soon she will be a houshold name!!!

Afterglow is a Canadian three piece band rockin out of Vancouver Island, BC. The power of this trio's
music comes from the two brothers in the band, the drummer and the lead singer and
guitarist.
There is something about bands with brothers that give a tightness to a band that can only come from years of playing together.
Both brothers had been seperated in
countless bands before Afterglow, some of which had won the Vancouver
Seeds festival and landed them living in LA for a while. They have worked with
Juno nominated producers including Rick Salt, as
well as Dale Penner, one of Vancouver's most renowned producers known
for breaking bands such as Nickleback and many other acts. Their music is simple and straight to the point, no messin around, it's just straight up rockin!!!
